Using the technology in right situation that makes learning experiences for students fun and effective. It can promote technology knowledge among student that is needed in 21st century.
3. Pedological Knowledge.
Using various type of teaching pedology according to the topic being teach and learning environment to support learning among the students. Some example of such pedology can be cooperative learning, differentiated teaching instructions and grouping methods.
TPACK play a very important role in education as it guides teacher to plan their lesson effectively that makes teaching easy and fun for students that are interactive. It also provides support in covering 21st century skill that are very important. It enhance teaching and learning deeply.
Name: Mon Maya Raika. Course: B.Ed 1B

Recognize the four types of landforms.
Lesson objectives.

identify the correct types of landforms that they see in their daily life after the

Anticipatory set: 4 minutes
I will greet the class and ask students few questions about their feelings such as “How are you
feeling today” before starting the class. I will make a point to ask if they have any doubt regarding the previous class as the lessons are related.
I will be instructing students to look out from the windows and write their observation in their
books based on what kind of landforms they can see around individually. (They can
recognize various types of landforms with the help of previous knowledge)
I will continue the lesson by showing pictures of mountains, valleys, plateaus and
plain in Bhutan to the students on the screen through google image(TK) so that they are aware that we are studying about the environment they live in.
After the showcase of the pictures I will ask for common things they saw from the window
and the pictures I showed. I will encourage pop-corn method answering to encourage self-
participation based on their interest.
Introduction to new materials: 4 minutes
The children will get a brief idea about types of landforms around them from activity. So
now I will help them define the four types of landforms using the PPT (TK) which
includes: mountains, valleys, plateaus and plains verbally. I will make sure to ask the students
of any confusion and doubts frequently as I teach them.
Activity 1
After assuring that all the students are clear about the definition of types of land form(CK), I will
let them draw all the four types of landforms on autodraw software(TK) using their own creativity.
This activity will be carried out individually(PK) to assure that everyone participate in it and have
understood the concept correctly. I will be helping and monitoring them when they carry out
the activity.
Guided practice: 5 minutes
From the above activity I will be able to make out the understanding level of the students about
the topic. In connection to the above activity, I will let two of them to share their opinion about
their drawings. The student will be picked based on the word that they think describes them
the best. For example I will say tallest, the student who think that he/she is the tallest in the
opinion sharing that the students do, I will now let the students do a presentation.
Activity 2
I will let the students prepare a small presentation using PPT(tk) in a group of 5 on any types of landforms of their choice within 3 minutes. The grouping method I would be using is called number index(pk) where I will number the students 1 and 2, later putting all the 1s in one group and 2s in another. This method will assure equal distribution of students in a group.
I will give freedom of selecting the presenter from the group so that they will choose the best
among them to present as this activity is mainly carried out to clear any misconception the
students might be having. The presenter will have to complete it within 1 minute each.
Independent practice: 5 minutes
I will now ask students to brainstorm about how the four types of landforms (mountains,
valleys, plateaus and plain) can be represented using symbols(CK). This activity will be carried
out using the think, pair and share (PK) method.
Think phase: Students will brainstorm about how they would like to represent the four types
of landforms in symbols in their opinion and write it in their book.
Pair Phase: Students will now work with their shoulder partner and share about what they
brainstormed in the thinking phase and instructing them to select the best answer that they want to share with the class.
Share Phase: I will instruct the 2 students to share the best answers that they have discussed
in pairs to the class. The students will be called based on their level of participation in the
class. I will let the students name those who participates the most during the class and pick
those whose name didn’t come up for the sharing.
Closure: 2 minutes.
I will end the class by asking if they have any doubts regarding the lessons. Then I will also let one student to summarize the lesson.
I will also ask students to answer the question that I will post on google classroom(TK) as a homework assignment.
